KPMG brings in top people to lead new talent centre

KPMG in the UK has formed a new talent centre of expertise overseeing the firm’s learning, performance development and recruitment functions.

It also has announced the appointments of a new head of people, head of reward and head of people operations.

Caroline Hill joins KPMG in the UK as head of people for audit and KBS. Hill, previously people & strategy officer at Wesleyan, will be a member of the audit executive team and will report to KPMG’s UK chief people officer, Kevin Hogarth, who joined the firm in November 2020.

Issy Homan, formerly UK head of learning, has been appointed to lead the new talent centre of expertise, which will combine the firm’s learning, performance development and recruitment functions.

Other moves within KPMG’s people leadership team include Tim Edwards joining as head of reward and Jason Gowlett, set to join the firm at the beginning of September as head of people operations. He was most recently Direct Line Group’s director of HR operations.
