Rullion shuts Leeds office as it focuses on large-scale outsourcing

Recruitment expert Rullion is refocusing its operations within construction and infrastructure on national accounts and large-scale outsourced solutions, resulting in the closure of its Leeds branch.

In a statement released today, the multi-sector recruiter explained the move has meant the closure of the Leeds branch as it supported smaller construction contracts.

The firm added it would continue to serve clients in construction through national accounts from its offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle, as well as clients in the interior markets space from London and Brighton.

A Rullion spokesperson told Recruiter fewer than 10 members of staff have been affected by the Leeds closure but all have been offered alternative employment elsewhere in the business. Leeds clients will served by the Manchester office.

The firm further explained that over the next three years it is aiming to become a leader in large-scale outsourcing and candidate-led niche recruitment, adding this change in direction has seen it launch its niche talent division and strengthen its recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), managed service provider (MSP) and technology capability with the recruitment of a 40-strong in-house development team.
