Work starts on Yorkshire business park creating up to 2550 jobs

Developers have begun work on a new £105m Yorkshire business park near Leeds that could create up to 2,550 jobs.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports property development company Glentrool Estates Group is working on a project called Sherburn2 on a 75-acre site at Junction 42 of the A1(M) Sherburn-in-Elmet in Leeds.

The project got off the ground due to a £2.95m investment from the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Enterprise Partnership, and the government’s Growing Places Fund, while current work being carried out will prepare the site for development when a deal is signed.
