Biotechnology firm Gilead Sciences has promoted Grant Weinberg to worldwide director for talent acquisition.

Biotechnology firm Gilead Sciences has promoted Grant Weinberg to worldwide director for talent acquisition.

Weinberg, previously director, talent acquisition for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), will move to the US to the group’s corporate headquarters in California to take up his appointment. He was previously based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

He joined the company in 2008 as associate director for international talent acquisition.

Weinberg made the shortlist for In-House Recruitment Leader of the Year for the 2015 Recruiter Awards for Excellence, held in association with Anderson Group.

He was also one of Recruiter’s 11 Most Influential Recruiters for 2013.
