APPOINTMENTS: 2-5 MAY 2023

• Executive search firm Calibre One has appointed Kimberley Rice as global partner to its US healthcare and life sciences team in Northern California’s Napa Valley. Rice brings more than 30 years of global executive search experience across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America. She was previously CEO of her own global life sciences firm for 11 years, which she sold to a multinational search firm.

• SaaS HR provider Ciphr has appointed Chris Boddice to its leadership team and the group’s board of directors. Boddice, who has been working as Ciphr’s interim chief marketing officer (CMO) for the past few months, now takes on that role permanently. He will be responsible for all marketing functions and demand-gen activities, including evolving the Ciphr branding and driving brand awareness.

• Chorley-based recruitment firm Fresh Perspective Resourcing has announced two new appointments. Tom Anderson and Rachael Watts have joined the business to meet increased demand from employers across Lancashire. In addition, three promotions see Cheryl Ashcroft assume the new position of team lead having joined the company in August 2021; Andrea Nelson is now assistant team lead; and Vicky Taylor becomes senior team lead.

• Scotland-based recruitment-to-recruitment Gillespie People Solutions has appointed Leah Ley-Wilson as business manager. Ley-Wilson ran her own rec-to-rec business for over 20 years, and has now stepped back to work alongside Gillespie business founder Hazel Gillespie and her team.

Mustard Jobs has announced three senior promotions to its business to help its growth strategy. Archie Harvey is appointed sales director, Joe Bungey moves to the role of operations director and Phil Boshier becomes the new associate director of people and culture.

Nicholas Associates Group (NAG) has appointed Sarah Shaw as recruitment consultant to drive growth in Leeds and North Yorkshire for the construction division. Shaw has seven years’ experience of helping house builders predominantly across Yorkshire and the Midlands attract construction professionals.
