Bank of Ireland creates tech roles, Zeus opens logistics facility with new jobs

Bank of Ireland has announced the creation of 100 jobs in its customer solutions and technology teams.

The roles include cloud platform engineers, cybersecurity experts, data infrastructure engineers, specialised project managers and business analysts.

An expanded workforce will help accelerate a range of digital projects and builds on the recruitment of 230 tech specialists since 2021.

New hires will be involved in delivering the company’s cloud strategy and protect customers from cyber threats, the bank said. Bank of Ireland says that applicants will be able to work from a combination of home and central office locations, as well as a network of 13 remote working hubs.

Meanwhile, global packaging supply chain solutions company Zeus plans to create 40 jobs with the opening of a new logistics facility in Cork.

The jobs will be in the areas of logistics, distribution, commercial and administration, and will take place over the next 18 months, the company said.
