The acquisitions are: French company StaffMe, active in the digital staffing market; the German company LD Personalvermittlung, a provider in healthcare staffing solutions with a focus on doctors. 

House of Covebo, a subsidiary company of House of HR, has expanded further in The Netherlands with FID and Bis People – two acquisitions in temporary employment niches that will further amplify its strong positions in the Netherlands, according to a statement from House of HR.

“With these acquisitions, House of HR has realised in total 13 acquisitions so far in 2022,” the statement went on to say. “It reflects House of HR’s ambition to further specialise and strengthen its position in the European HR market.”

StaffMe focuses on connecting students and new entrepreneurs with companies to provide temporary services on a freelance basis. The StaffMe digital matching platform is part of the StaffMe group, which will also become part of House of HR. The StaffMe group offers two other services: professional training for young independent workers and StaffMe EITI supports young people with difficulties in accessing the job market.

By adding StaffMe into its portfolio, House of HR is creating a strategic alliance with its own subsidiary company NOWJOBS, the 100% digital platform specialising in flexible jobs, which was founded in 2017 and launched in France in 2021. Working only with freelance and student workers, StaffMe has found that 85% of the students in its database want to work using interim and employment contracts. NOWJOBS specialises in offering flexible contracts and provides instant payment for work done at the end of each work shift, the company said, via its own app. The app is aligned with social legislation and administrative requirements. NOWJOBS will operate under the StaffMe brand in France, given the high level of StaffMe’s brand awareness there.

The acquisition of the German company LD Personalvermittlung, founded in 2017, is House of HR’s second acquisition in the German healthcare space. Its first, avanti, offers recruiting and secondment in the healthcare fields of nurses, intensive care staff and other hospital support personnel.  

The latest acquisition’s services cover the placement of physicians to clinics to ensure care coverage and absorb peak workloads at clinics, with a strong focus on Southern Germany.

House of Covebo, one of the largest subsidiary companies of House of HR, has expanded further in the Netherlands with the take-over of FID, a temporary employment player in waste processing, recycling and landscaping. House of Covebo has also acquired Dutch Bis People, specialising in flex employment, secondment of skilled workers, mediating self-employed workers and recruiting UTA – executive, technical and administrative – personnel for residential building construction, non-residential building construction and infrastructure operations in the Netherlands.
