A Dorset bakery is taking on 40 new workers as production looks to head into overdrive ahead of the festive season.
Stalbridge-based Fudges’ workforce, which will reach 160 full and part-time workers, will be producing around 4.5m biscuits a week in the run up to Christmas, a 50% increase on previous production levels.
The family firm supplies supermarkets including Waitrose, Tesco and ASDA, as well as independent retailers.
