Social network Facebook is hiring for a new engineering team in London, it announces in a blog post on the website.

Facebook software engineer Philip Su writes: “London is a perfect fit for Facebook engineering - it's a global hub, and it has a vibrant local start-up community with lots of great technical talent.”The team will “start small… and then grow over time”, he adds.

There are currently six different engineering positions advertised on its London jobs site, as well as five for recruiters.
