Contact Recruitment Group has hired a new country manager for India, aiming to achieve a 100% growth in the next year. The professional recruiter’s presence in India will be led by Gaurav Nanda, who has 10 years’ experience recruiting in the region.

Contact Recruitment Group has hired a new country manager for India, aiming to achieve a 100% growth in the next year. The professional recruiter’s presence in India will be led by Gaurav Nanda, who has 10 years’ experience recruiting in the region.

“The company is going from strength to strength and is in an extremely exciting period. I am looking forward to the challenge and embracing the role and the opportunities in this fast-growing market,” said Nanda.

Uzair Bawany, group managing director of Contact Recruitment, told Recruiter: “We are very pleased that Gaurav has joined the team. His experience as an associate vice-president for a leading search firm in India will be invaluable to the progression and continued development of our incredibly successful operation in India.”

Nanda’s recruitment experience ranges from finance and banking to aviation and the IT and telecoms industry.

Employing 100 staff worldwide, the company now has offices in London, Dublin, Delhi and Singapore.

 Milo O’Connor has joined Shilton Sharpe Quarry to become part of SSQ’s private practice division in London. O’Connor will recruit associates and partners for law firms.

Interim management recruiters Interim Partners has appointed Mark Kitchen as head of practice for construction and related services in its London office.

Helen Reynolds has stepped down as deputy chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. An REC statement said Reynolds was leaving to “pursue other interests”. She declined to elaborate when contacted by Recruiter. Reynolds was appointed in January while acting CEO, a role she filled until the appointment of new CEO Kevin Green.
