Companies create jobs in North Wales and Greater London

A Deeside frozen food manufacturer is to create 40 new jobs and a medical care manufacturer has created 27 new roles in South-East London.

The Standard reports KK Fine Food, based in the Deeside Enterprise zone in North-East Wales, is upskilling its workforce and creating 40 new jobs, as well as accommodating a research & development centre with the potential of increasing opportunities for Welsh suppliers.

The Welsh Government is supporting the firm’s £5.5m growth plans with £550k from its Economy Futures Fund as it expands and diversifies its production facility to supply frozen ready meals in the retail sector, having specialised in the pub and restaurant sectors.

Elsewhere, a firm specialising in community-based medical care has expanded its operations after securing a multi-million pound financing package from HSBC UK.

Healthshare has opened a brand-new endoscopy centre in Greater London and expanded its existing clinic in Norwich, creating 27 new jobs.

The funding has enabled the firm to build a new endoscopy medical clinic in Crayfields Business Park in Orpington and recruit a full management and endoscopy team.
