Specialist rail recruitment firm NES Track has announced the appointment of Andrew Rowlands as managing director.

Rowlands moves from the position of development director with NES Global, where he oversaw expansion in the Middle East, including working on Dubai’s metro system.

NES Track already supports the UK’s leading rail projects such as the West Coast Main Line, the Trent Valley four tracking scheme, Airdrie to Bathgate line and Crossrail projects,” Rowlands told Recruiter.

“As preparations for the 2012 Olympics generate greater demand for our services, it is imperative that NES Track has a leader who can take advantage of the opportunities available,” said Neil Tregarthen, chief executive of NES.
