• Design, engineering and recruitment firm Contechs is offering more than 175 jobs across the Midlands and Essex to individuals looking for employment opportunities in next generation EE architecture and EV platforms as it announces its upcoming recruitment day. • Smart CV tool provider CV Wallet has launched a CV Wallet app using Web3 technologies to help overcome challenges associated with traditional hiring. This includes data privacy and security breaches and risks, high application drop-out rates, inconsistent referencing and interview bias. CV Wallet makes it simple to find and directly approach the right people (who can remain anonymous) with the right skills.

Liberty Hive has launched its annual subscription package for businesses to save on costly media recruitment commissions. The tech firm says its monthly premium package from £495 “guarantees” media companies get a minimum of two hires a year, with the opportunity to post unlimited job roles saving thousands on recruitment fees per hire.

• Talent management solutions provider Nicholas Associates Group has opened a new branch office in Doncaster for its Stafforce recruitment brand. Stafforce has branches across the UK and provides temporary, flexible roles as well as ongoing permanent career moves. The new office is located in Bizspace on TenPound walk in Doncaster. The firm says the new office will mean that job seeker needs will be met locally in a more sustainable and environmentally conscious manner.

OnlyDataJobs, a data and analytics jobs platform, has launched to connect skilled data specialists with businesses embracing Industry 4.0. It has over 13,700 jobs available on the site from a range of UK employers including technology, manufacturing and engineering sectors. OnlyDataJobs enables jobseekers to search for their next role by technology or programming language such as Python, SQL, Azure or Java.

• West Midlands-based employment support specialists Steps To Work has launched a new programme to help those who have served in the Armed Forces as they embark on a new career path. Steps To Work is using its specialist employment knowledge to provide a scheme aimed at veterans, reservists and cadets. The employment support includes helping with job applications, CV building, interview techniques and access to training and development opportunities.

Sterling, a provider of background and identity solutions, has partnered with digital identity company Yoti to streamline background checks and expand its digital identity solutions. The global partnership will expand Sterling’s digital identity capabilities in EMEA and APAC, and accelerate its vision to create privacy-centric portable identities for candidates. Candidates who verify their identity through Sterling and Yoti will be able to seamlessly create a secure, reusable digital identity.

Microsoft teams up with SThree to improve operations
