Vacancies may have dipped in the hospitality and catering sector, but overall the skills shortage is worsening in the sector

The number of vacancies in the hospitality and catering sector, which ranges from chefs and housekeepers to receptionists, dipped slightly in September, according to Reed.co.uk’s market index.

The Reed.co.uk figures revealed that there were 11,000 permanent jobs available in England in September, compared to 400 in Scotland and 150 in Wales.
