The Role:

Lifeline Recruitment Services are a Specialist Healthcare Agency recruiting temporary and permanent staff for the healthcare sector. We are a highly successful, professional sales team; our work is nationwide. The successful candidate will be required to develop, maintain and service a bank of highly qualified, relevant and suitable candidates through the registration and compliance process. You must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in recruitment and sales.

Summary of Main Duties/Requirements

Registrations/Resourcing:

* Ensure sufficient advertisements are placed to enable a constant stream of external applications for agency roles
* Liaise with Recruitment Consultants to understand current resource priorities
* Track and manage all new applications to ensure no potential registrations are missed
* Pre–screen candidates to ensure only suitable applicants are invited to interview, ensuring that application packs are sent out and interviews are booked
* To carry out candidate interviews at various locations as required by the business
* Ensure the team are carrying out interviews in line with company policies and procedures and that all files meet NHS compliance standards
* Keep the Bookings team informed at all stages of the progress of the candidates
* Provide a positive and professional Candidate experience to ensure that Lifeline Recruitment Services is promoted to attract and obtain further candidate referrals from new workers

Compliance:

* To ensure the compliance process for new candidates commences within agreed timeframes, meeting targets and KPI's for turnaround time from registration to placement
* Ensure that all original documentation and Identification is validated and verified at point of registration
* To take responsibility for ensuring that no candidate is placed into any booking until fully compliant
* Ensure that all documentation and/or correspondence received is accurately logged and filed within the relevant file and/or electronic filing system
* Actively send, chase, obtain and validate all references required
* Ensure that all new nurses are registered with the NMC and conduct regular checks
* Conduct Enhanced DBS Checks on all new members of staff
* Organise, confirm and validate Occupational Health Checks for all new members of staff
* To ensure that all candidate information is accurately logged onto the Recruitment system
* Ensure that alerts are set for all candidates to allow for the annual update/renewal of any required document/registration/procedure/training
* Liaise with the payroll department on a weekly basis to ensure that any monies owed to Lifeline Recruitment Services by candidates for CRB's, Occupational Health Checks and/or Training are collected from the candidates
