Recruitment is a very rewarding and satisfying job, it is made up of many different elements and a successful consultant requires many different skills:

  • Using marketing, business and competitor leads to develop existing company contacts.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure future business.
  • Reviewing applications, managing interviews, considering candidates and shortlists.
  • Selling using retained methodology.
  • Identifying and evaluating the recruitment needs of clients.
  • Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates.
  • Providing creative solutions to employers' recruitment issues.
  • Assisting with the negotiation of terms of engagement and fees with the client.
  • Documenting clients' details and vacancy requirements.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be of graduate calibre.
  • Possess excellent recruitment skills (2 years+) and be able to communicate at all levels.
