Safehands recruitment are looking for a recruitment consultant to join their team supplying permanent staff. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, with a negotiable base salary DOE, and uncapped earning potential. Safehands Recruitment provides temporary and permanent recruitment services within the Health and Social Care sector at all levels from Directors to Healthcare Assistants.

An exciting opportunity has become available within Safehands for a Permanent Recruitment Consultant based in our Cheltenham branch. You will be working for a highly reputable organisation who are market leaders within Health and Social Care Recruitment with a large, exclusive client base.

Here at Safehands, progression and development is key, so you will have access to industry specific training whilst working alongside consultants with a proven track record.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing new business by making sales calls to new clients
  • Developing strong relationships with clients to maximise on business
  • Attending sales meetings to ensure a full understanding of the business you are recruiting for
  • Negotiating rates
  • Working towards KPI's
  • Advertising new vacancies in a professional manner
  • Sourcing the best candidates on the market to match live vacancies
  • Meeting candidates to conduct 1st stage interview
  • Preparing candidates for interviews with clients
  • Offering exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates

Person Specification:

  • A proven track record in sales is essential, ideally business to business
  • Previous experience in healthcare or recruitment is desirable
  • An ability to think on your feet and think creatively
  • To be consultative in your sales approach
  • To be able to negotiate and influence decision makers
  • To be good at building long standing relationships within a business environment
  • The right mindset– honest and flexible with the determination to succeed
