Resourcing Team Administrator

Based at Service Headquarters, Clyst St George, Exeter

Permanent Contract

37 Hours per Week

Salary Grade 3 – commencing salary of GBP19945.00 (gross) per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Resourcing Administrator to become part of the functional Resourcing Requirements team, working at Service Headquarters in Exeter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing admin support for the Resourcing Service Delivery Team, in conjunction with the relevant Capability and Functional leads. This newly developed department within the Service is responsible for ensuring that all requirements are in place to enable Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service to successfully deliver on our Mission Statement. The successful candidate will be required to co–ordinate and communicate with many different departments within the organisation and will need to possess good interpersonal and customer service skills as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload within a dynamic and fast changing environment.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining and updating essential spreadsheets, databases and systems.
  • Organising and attending meetings/representing the department, preparing documents prior to meetings (including agenda's), minute taking and ensuring actions are followed up
  • Processing of orders, invoices and stores requisitions via Service computer systems.
  • Monitoring of annual returns including Inventories.
