About the Role:
  • Leads complex sourcing deals in the Contingent labour and HR areas, driving the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing events.
  • Leads the implementation of innovative business change solutions, including company–wide initiatives. Plays an active role in new service development, process and performance improvement initiatives
  • Supports the development of sourcing processes for assessing and fulfilling current and future sourcing needs. Acts as process owner and champion for the strategic sourcing and consumption management processes.
  • Collaborates with Service Relationship Manager and Supplier Management Team to review and drive the performance of strategic partners.
  • Highlights operational, regulatory and other risks to the Head of Category. Takes ownership for sourcing issues and actively participates in their resolution

What we're looking for:
  • First and foremost, this is a people role for an experienced procurement person. Relationships with service owners are key in building, maintaining and executing successful deliveries. The successful individual will establish themselves as approachable, personable and reliable in leading; sourcing and negotiating both contracts and peer–to–peer (P2P) activities.
  • The individual must be highly motivated, able to quickly learn new services (local and global), industries and drive these forwards.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
  • Professional procurement qualification/accreditation (E.g. Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM) etc.)
  • Experience in managing sourcing projects
  • Strong team leader and team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organisation
