Main Purpose

As a Recruitment Consultant/Senior Consultant you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring job candidates for open positions. Your goal will be to always meet clients' needs by finding candidates that match their organisational culture and open job positions.

You will be responsible for the day to day running the office, targeting business within Central Scotland.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Communicate with clients to get a clear view of their hiring needs and organisational goals

* Daily recruitment duties which include, working on current requirements, sourcing candidates using Facebook, CV Library, LinkedIn, Eclipse

* Define job description and document specifications

* Available candidate spec emails

* Candidate check in's – Weekly calls to candidates to discuss how everything is on site

* Present detailed candidate profile summaries

* Build long–term client relationships

* Weekly progression report on the temporary candidate's on various assignments, which includes candidate confirmation emails to candidate/client, new start packs, organisation of PPE

* Chasing Clients for updates on requirements, keeping in constant contact

* Daily team meeting where we discuss current requirements and delegate who is working on what requirements

* Spec CVs –formatting before sending to a Client Follow–up references / Present shortlisted candidates

* Candidate call logs updated for each requirement

* Candidate registrations – new and existing

* Update of daily logs which include – Available candidates, Active Temp Requirements, No Show, Spec log temp/perm

* Daily filing and allocation of inbox emails

Business Development

* Research into clients companies

* Research into competitors and market place

* Research and develop recruiting leads

* Targeting Clients who may be recruiting within there business

* Following up on all leads

Hours of work

* 42.5 hours a week (actual hours and days may vary as required)


* 5 years of experience in recruiting or similar HR role


* Excellent understanding of recruitment processes

Experience, Qualifications, and Training

* Understanding of Recruitment software is a plus

* Sound knowledge of candidates selection methods

* Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies

* Critical thinker and problem–solving skills

* Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

* Team player who can take direction from peers

* Great time–management skills
