As Resource Manager you will be responsible for both the recruitment of Associates (freelance/contract consultants) to support our team, and for facilitating the allocation of resources on client engagements. You will report to the Head of People and Talent and work as a peer to the Recruitment Manager.
Candidates must bring previous experience in a similar role within a management consultancy or other professional services environment. We are happy to consider candidates who want to work on either a full or part–time (4 days) basis but this must include Fridays in the London office.
Key Responsibilities will include:
??Working closely with the leadership team to provide resourcing options in alignment with the sales pipeline. Producing reports and MI for the leadership team on a weekly basis, to facilitate key resourcing decisions
??Managing the use of our resourcing software (Kimble) and using this to information to prioritise resourcing activity.
??Gathering requirements to enable effective sourcing and screening of potential candidates for specific engagements.
??Direct sourcing, via advertising, research and networking, to identify and attract new Associates into the network both proactively and in response to specific resource requirements.
??Undertaking first level telephone screening of potential Associates and then coordinating the subsequent interview process, supporting face–to–face interviews as required.
??Developing and managing a regular programme of communications with Associates, both on and off assignment, to include update calls, events and newsletters.
??Working in partnership with the Recruitment Manager to support the permanent recruitment process by proactively helping to develop a talent pool of candidates for permanent roles, utilising direct sourcing methodologies.
Your experience must include:
??An understanding of managing resource allocation within a management consultancy or other professional services environment. Prior experience of using Kimble software would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
??Experience in managing end to end recruitment processes for both permanent and contract roles, recruiting at a senior level for consultants and project managers. This should include demonstrable specialism in direct sourcing, using a variety of tools and methodologies.
??Excellent communication and relationship management skills, in order to build relationships with potential associates and internal stakeholders. This should include an ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
??Exceptional organisation and problem–solving skills, with great attention to detail.
??Education to degree level (or equivalent).
