An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Group Sourcing Manager for my growing FMCGF client based at their Head office in Central London

Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement, the Group Procurement Manager will lead the sub–contract/co–pack categories and will operate as a key part of the Procurement team supporting the business with procurement services for the sub–contracted activities across the business

Summary of role

  • Define and execute the procurement strategy with alignment to the overall company strategy and objectives

  • Facilitate varied procurement category needs; from setting category strategy, managing competing tender priorities and promoting procurement good practice

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders; providing market insight, promoting best practice, identifying opportunities & risks and achieving governance compliance

  • Engage colleagues, suppliers and external consultants and provide a professional, efficient and effective procurement service

  • To ensure purchasing and contract risks to the business are minimised

  • Develop key supplier relationships, monitor suppliers' performance, and ensure service level agreements & key performance indicators are met

Skills/experience required

  • Proven similar experience with in a procurement role in the FMCG environment

  • Experience of co–pack/ sub–contract or similar areas of purchasing

  • Strategic mindset within a commercial environment

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Supplier Management – proven track record of influencing suppliers to get the "best deal"
