Alex Stewart

has been appointed account manager at technical recruiter NRL to develop business within the petrochemical and oil and gas industries in its Falkirk office, as the company attempts to deal with an “ever-increasing” demand for contract personnel.

Stewart told Recruiter: “NRL is a company I have known for almost 20 years and have been impressed with its growth and professionalism. The company has a very strong management team, and NRL is looking forward to further growth within existing markets and building on what is already a very successful business.” Stewart added that demand for contract personnel has increased by around 20% in the last six months alone.

NRL’s group director, Donald Livingston, said: “Having worked with Alex previously, I was delighted to secure his services. He has a strong record in developing business both with existing and new clients in our industries.”

Stewart has worked as a recruiter in the oil and gas industries since 1980.
