Your new role
As the Sourcing Manager, you will be a senior figure within the procurement function, specifically aligned to the logistics category spend area. You will sit under the category Director, and this would be natural progression for someone at this level in a year or two's time. You will be taking the full ownership of the category plans and develop the strategic sourcing methodology for logistics services to the business. You will be driving best procurement policies and cost savings in a proactive manner across the business. You will demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to drive success within procurement.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have proven commercial awareness and negotiation skills. You will be able to work on multiple projects in one go and be looking for an organisation where you can develop to the next step in your career. You must have experience procuring manpower labour services, so this does not have to be specifically related to the logistics category.
