About the role:

We currently have a vacancy for a Trainee to join our Specialist Contractor division based out of our office in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. As a trainee you will be supporting the consultants in the team to source and validate candidates for a variety of jobs for example Quantity Surveyors, Technical and Design professionals and Project Managers within various specialist sub-contracting sectors.

In order to source candidates, a Resourcer is expected to spend a lot of their time calling potential candidates. These candidates' details would have been obtained from our internal database, contacts through our website, job boards and other external sources - such as LinkedIn.

Training will be provided on how best to utilise the above sources, as well as how best to validate candidates for roles.

As a growing company your position within the business will naturally elevate to a role with more responsibility, gaining more experience over time. For a Resourcer, your role will initially evolve to include direct contact with clients and taking the responsibility for the 360 recruitment process in a select number of lower level roles.

About the benefits and rewards:

Remuneration will be extremely generous. We base salaries on the experience and abilities of each professional but offer beyond the typical level in industry. You can expect a basic salary from ??17,000 to ??25,000. In addition to basic salary and a set commission amount for each placement, we offer generous quarterly bonuses, quarterly target based office events, regular team social events, on-going perks through Perkbox, and a drinks fridge.

About the requirements:

Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in, or knowledge of, the construction industry as well as previous recruitment experience. Most importantly, however, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, conscientious, show strong organisational skills and demonstrate a high level of intelligence.
