Where does this role sit?

The Product Quality Team is responsible for managing the overall Quality throughout the end-to-end product development process and acting as the single point of contact for the category teams.

The primary function is to define the quality and performance requirements for all Kingfisher own brand products, ensuring that they meet the needs and expectations of both the customers' and the commercial teams, as well as being safe and compliant for our customers in all Kingfisher markets.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Your role as the Sourcing Quality Technologist will be to support the Sourcing Quality Engineers in new product introduction process from the selection stage, working with Product Sourcing Managers (PSMs), Product Quality Engineers (PQEs), Production Engineers and vendor factory personnel.

Work with Sourcing Quality Manager, Sourcing Quality Engineers and other stakeholders to maintain and update Sourcing Quality Department Policy, Procedure and Training documents; provide training on processes to team as required as well as managing 3rd party relationships.

To carry out this role you will be able to multi-task and prioritise with high attention to detail. Your stakeholder management skills will be excellent and you will have an aptitude for working with technical systems.
