Our client is changing at a formidable pace and wants to set the standard for best practice in recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive resourcing professional who enjoys both the strategic and operational side of recruitment, who is passionate about further developing an organisation's in-house recruitment capability and who has the ambition to truly own the resourcing strategy for their business.

Key responsibilities will include:
Defining and delivering recruitment strategy for the business.
Building relationships with external suppliers that will supplement the direct sourcing model.
Reviewing industry specific and role specific market trends to set the strategy to ensure the best recruitment methods are always utilised.
Working with hiring managers to develop long term resourcing plans, identifying and delivering best practice in terms of succession planning, pipelining and resourcing.
Screening and shortlisting CVs to share with hiring managers and organising interviews.
Responsible for all recruitment activity associated with the Graduate and apprenticeship schemes.

The successful candidate will:
Have previous in-house recruitment experience ideally gained within an engineering/construction/operational focused industry.
Have experience of building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through developing "talent pools" and conducting effective market research and mapping.
Have experience of working on graduate/apprenticeship schemes.
Be able to manage multiple recruitment campaigns at any one time.
Have strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management and an ability to be self-sufficient and proactive.
Have the ability to influence and drive recruitment innovation and appetite for change.
Have experience in training and coaching hiring managers in recruitment processes and interview techniques.
