Aberdeen set for job boost after AMEC wins North Sea contract

The jobs, both offshore and onshore, will be based in Aberdeen after it won a contract with oil producer Nexen that is due to run for a minimum of six years, with the possibility of an extension for a further four years.

An AMEC spokesperson tells Recruiter: “It’s still early days as we are in the process of transitioning the contract from the previous contractor to AMEC. The roles will be in Aberdeen, onshore and offshore, and will gradually build up as the contract scope builds up and gathers momentum.”

The roles will be advertised on AMEC's website.
