Macildowie appoints two directors to board

Financial and HR recruiter Macildowie has appointed two new directors to its board.

Former managers James Calder (left) and James Taylor (right) have both been appointed directors with immediate effect.

Taylor and Calder will each hold a special responsibility for developing and empowering staff, keeping employees focused and motivated, and
for developing management within the business.

Taylor, based at the Leicester office, has been with the business since 1997, and has pioneered a series of business initiatives in the company. Calder, based at the Nottingham office, found his first accountancy job using Macildowie, and upon returning to the business in search of another role was appointed trainee recruitment consultant.

Multi-sector recruiter Orion Group has appointed Paul Kaleem as sales director. Kaleem is charged with growing the group’s various industry sectors and developing new business avenues in up and coming markets including petrochemical, commissioning and completions and renewables.

 

Professional recruiter Antal Russia has appointed Michael Germershausen as managing director. Antal Russia is part of the global FiveTen Group.

Global life sciences executive search and interim management recruiter RSA has appointed Matt Ryans as finance director. Ryans will oversee RSA’s global budgeting process and manage the company’s financial risk, and is responsible for long-term financial planning.

HR recruiter HR Recruitment Solutions (HRRS) has appointed David Burgess as an additional HR consultant for the North-West. Burgess will handle all entry-level to mid-range HR vacancies throughout the North-West.

Executive search firm Hitchenor Wakeford’s international division has appointed Tom Guy as associate consultant. Guy joins from Michael Page, where he spent two years based in Moscow as a board member leading the firm’s financial services division.

PR and communications specialist recruiter VMA has appointed Crystal Walter to head its corporate communications practice. Walter, who has previously worked for international law firm, Lovells, will oversee a team of consultants focusing on permanent and interim recruitment in the in-house arena.

Multi-sector recruiter Blusource Professional Services has appointed Bjorn Jones to manage the growth of division - Blusource Professional. Jones, a financial recruitment specialist who previously worked at Michael Page International, joins director Ben Walker and will manage Blusource Professional’s commerce and industry division, as well as its public sector work, focusing on senior level appointments.

Life sciences recruiter Langton Howarth has appointed heads for three newly launched divisions. Jeremy Thomas (left) will be in charge of animal health, while Kirsty Fenella Smith (below left) heads health & beauty and Katie Mahoney (bottom left) takes on diagnostics. Meanwhile, Danielle Casey has been recruited to focus on developing the firm’s international business.


Global executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates has promoted consultants Erik Wordelman, Constantine Alexandrakis and Lyndon Taylor to managing directors within the company in the US.

Advert distribution and response tracking technology provider Broadbean Technology has promoted Lee Anne Davey to client services director.

Building services and facilities maintenance recruiter Anglo Technical Recruitment has appointed Martin Paxman as a senior consultant. He will source both permanent and temporary engineering personnel.
