We at REED are looking for a trainee OR experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Birmingham office, within the Human Resources division.

If you're someone who is good with people, who knows how to influence and give great service, or a recruiter simply wishing to work for the UK's best known recruitment brand, we want to hear from you. We know that a great consultant can come from any background, and it's your outstanding communication skills, resilience and dedication to succeed that are exactly what we're looking for.

Why is recruiting for HR different to any other sector?

The relationship is key, a successful HR Recruiter will be able to build honest and genuine relationships with both their candidates and clients and covert them to be either or. HR is no easy sales gig, as agency users or gate keepers in other divisions getting to speak with them can be challenging and it really takes someone with a great personality to break down walls and shine out from the rest of the ground. If I am putting you off, then this role is not for you...If you are thinking that you normally build good relationships with HR and have gained multiple vacancies with them I want to hear from you.

This allows you the opportunity to specialise in a second sub area and really be seen as an expert in your market.

On a day to day basis we are not a heavily KPI driven business, we promote you being out and about meeting your market as much as possible as well as have a very adult approach and trust you to do what needs to be done.
