The Role: We firmly believe that the reason for our success over the past 25 years is in our ability to train and develop successful, 360 recruitment specialists - we don't believe there are any companies better than us, in Birmingham at getting the 360 trainee consultant model right!

But, we're not going to lie to you either. Recruitment is a demanding industry to work in and to become a successful recruitment consultant, you'll need to give it your all. If you're after a private jet and a collection of Rolex's ticking away in the background in your first year, this may not be the right choice for you either.

Recruitment is not a get rich quick scheme, it's an exciting and rewarding career that is the right one for people who are prepared to put the right work ethic into it. We generally advise consultants to expect 22k - 30k in their first year demanding on performance and market conditions. With an OTE of up to ??40k in your 2nd year and beyond that, the only limit is how much you're prepared to put in (A successful recruitment consultant can earn ??100k+ per annum).

You'll join an experienced team of consultants, who on average have 5+ years of working within Monarch. Recruitment experience is not required - but you do need to have the self-motivation, ambition and drive to carry out the end to end recruitment cycle.

Our goals for the team are steady and well thought out - we are looking to make hires in to key markets within IT and Engineering, where we have already had key successes and have a story to tell to potential new clients.

Rewards:
Commission: You will be paid commission monthly, which is uncapped and based on the monthly revenue you generate. In short, the more you bill, the more you'll earn, and with an uncapped structure it means that you really do have the opportunity to maximise your earning potential!

o Booked 3 deals or more in a month? Take an extra day's holiday!
o Billed ??20k or made 4 deals in a month? You're off the champagne club! - think afternoon off, food and drinks paid for at fantastic city venues

Benefits:
  • A starting base salary of ??18-20k (based on experience)
  • 24 days holiday, rising to 29 plus an additional day off to celebrate your birthday, plus incentive holiday days
