Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location - Leeds

Salary - Basic Salary Negotiable - Dependent Upon Experience. Uncapped monthly commission and company phone.

Role - Trainee Recruitment Consultant:

We are an independent and rapidly growing recruitment business that have offices across the UK. We specialise in the permanent placement of middle to senior management positions across various sectors, however, mainly in Life Sciences, Consumer and the construction and engineering sectors.

Due to our growth we are looking to recruit a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to work from our Leeds office. The role is a 360 process recruitment position, where you will be involved in the recruitment process from start to finish.

The position is effectively a year long apprenticeship where you will steadily learn the role of a recruitment consultant alongside a team of experienced recruiters.



* Experience of phone based sales.

* Customer skills and have an appetite to make phone calls and communicate with candidates and clients.

* Attention to detail and organisation. Time Management and Multi-Tasking.

* Ambition and drive. The recruitment environment is set up to earn commission and rewards, therefore it requires someone who is self-motivated and ambitious. The initial early stages of the job are very tough with long-hours and not much return, however with hard-work and resilience this role will lead to a successful and lucrative career.

* Commutable to Leeds with ideally a driving license.


* Degree educated, preferably a 2:1.

* Experience of operating a CRM Database system
