The role: The Recruitment Consultant in the scientific division will focus on the placement of permanent staff within large scientific clients across Europe, particularly within the UK, France and Germany. As you are recruiting for sometimes technical roles it is really important that the chosen consultant has the ability to understand and process technical job descriptions as well as question clients and candidates in a professional manner around technical and niche terminology. The Recruitment Consultant will have access to all major job boards and social media sites and will use these along with market mapping to source candidates for client vacancies. The Recruitment Consultant will deal daily with both clients and candidates and will be expected to take a proactive approach to sourcing and developing business and also screening candidates and advertising etc.

What we're looking for: You will either be working as a Recruitment Consultant already or as a Sales Consultant within a Business to Business environment. Our client recruit staff for the long term and have a lot of people who have successfully developed their career within the organisation, so it is important that you are genuinely interested in developing a long term career within recruitment. All applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, be of graduate calibre or a graduate and have a proactive and organised approach to work.

Our client offer up to ??32,000 basic salary dependant on experience plus commission of up to 20% on all your billings, additional travel incentives, foreign travel to client sites and a great work life balance, working hours 8.30 - 5.30, onsite gym and parking, free breakfasts on set days and a friendly and welcoming culture.
