Job overview
A recruitment consultancy based in Aberdeen are now looking to recruit a Trainee for their Sales Division. All applicants should have a keen interest in working within a busy office environment.
What might a typical day in this job look like?
Key Responsibilities-
To work as part of a team to try to obtain optimum business results for the Company.
To develop new business by contacting prospective clients by phone, email and visits.
To develop existing business by keeping frequent contact with clients.
To keep an accurate diary and record of all contacts and visits.
To maintain all databases and computer systems ensuring accuracy of data.
Main Tasks
To make phone calls and appointments with prospective and existing clients;
To record all data re clients, prospective clients and client contact on the recruitment database used paying attention to detail & accuracy;
To liaise with others in the team to ensure there is as much contact as possible with clients and prospective clients;
To support the operations team if required;
To scan & save accounts documents which require to be archived, filing them on the computer database, as required;
Any other duties as requested
What qualification or qualities are required?
The Job Holder must:-
Have a full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
Be keen to develop and learn new skills;
Have excellent communication skills;
Have excellent organisational and time-keeping skills;
Have a pleasant and professional telephone manner;
Be of smart, business-like appearance;
Be computer literate and able to use basic programmes;
Be literate and able to correspond professionally with clients by email;
Be flexible and willing to adapt as required
