Developing new, home-grown talent has always been key to our success. Consequently, to continue our growth and build upon our position as the regions pre-eminent built environment recruitment company, we are seeking new consultants to join our vastly experienced and supportive team.
Corepeople is the North East of Englands market leading and longest-established Construction specialist recruitment agency, with turnover of ??20 million + per annum and healthy profitability. Now entering our thirtieth year of trading, in recent times we have developed a broad client base in Yorkshire, an expansion which has provided staff with continued development opportunities throughout our company.
Our success and position in the market place is attributed to our reputation, integrity, our approach to the service we offer and above all the quality of our people. As market leaders in construction recruitment, we work with the organisations who are at the forefront of the construction industry and as a result, our consultants gain exposure to the highest profile national and international contractors as well as the strongest independent companies that dominate the northern regions.
The role of a recruitment consultant within Corepeople is extremely varied and multi-faceted. Specifically, you will specialise in the provision of professionals or skilled tradespeople and plant operatives to contractors and subcontractors in the Civil Engineering, Building or Housing sectors throughout the North East, Cumbria or Yorkshire.
Recruitment consultants are responsible for developing business with new and existing clients, seeking to add value to, and profit from, filling vacancies to varying lead times with suitably skilled workers.
To do this successfully, the consultant must be part salesperson, part influencer, part negotiator and part facilitator, as well as providing the highest standard service, all rolled into one. First rate time management skills are imperative. As such, few careers offer the autonomy, variety and sense of ownership experienced in recruitment.
Required to work in a very demanding environment, successful applicants must possess high levels of commitment, resilience and dedication. Consequently we look for strong-willed and confident individuals who have personality and charisma in abundance.
Working on the outskirts of Durham, our office environment is vibrant, fun and inclusive - our consultants dont subscribe to any recruitment consultant stereotypes!
