Parts Sourcing Administrator
Parts Administration job based in Leamington Spa for 3-6 Months
Your new company
You will be working for a well established engineering company that design, manufacture high end equipment and machinery. Due to winning a new contract the company have seen a huge increase in their workload and are now looking at getting an administrator in to assist in their busy parts department.
Your new role
You will be required to provide administration support to the parts team assisting in a variety of duties. These could include everything from:
- Estimating machine parts over the next 2 months;
- Speaking to suppliers re their capacity;
- Sourcing sample parts from new suppliers to check quality;
- Obtaining quotes;
- Placing orders;
- Maintaining project parts delivery BoM's;
- Supporting estimates;
- Measure supplier performance KPI's to assist supplier selection;
- Renewing contact with old suppliers or expanding our supplier base;
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously worked within a manufacturing, automotive or engineering company doing a similar role. Excellent attention to detail is essential as you will be dealing with lots of figures along with excellent Excel skills.
