MET Recruitment is an established ??2M turnover Recruiter based in Stevenage and London with plans to expand the teams in both locations significantly in the next 12 months and to other locations across the UK in the next few years. Right now we are looking for talented individuals to help develop our business further from our Stevenage office.

As a trainee you will learn about the recruitment industry from top to bottom through our refined and in-depth training programme delivered by experienced recruitment professionals.

Support is given throughout to nurture you into becoming a recruitment consultant running your own desk and managing your own accounts in a particular sector - in this case Logistics & Supply Chain. You will be an integral part in developing our temps desk further in this sector as well as growing a new perm desk too.

Good communication skills is a non-negotiable requirement as you will build your reputation through speaking with new and existing clients and candidates. We would like you to be sales driven with experience in B2B and or B2C sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Sourcing and searching for suitable candidates to meet the requirements of Temporary and Permanent Positions

* Developing new leads from websites, referrals, face to face meetings and networking with clients and candidates

* Building a successful client database through sales processes within a designated industry sector

* Using an industry leading CRM database to manage your clients and candidates effectively adhering to all current legislation

* Negotiate agreements and contracts and conduct presentations and tenders

* Proactively develop business with clients within the specified sector
