Motivated???ambitious???competitive???

All words you should use to describe yourself if you want to be considered for our Senior Recruitment Consultant opening. The job itself will be to oversee and recruit a wide range of Commercial & Office Support roles, where variety is very much the spice of life. So, if you have a successful background in recruitment and you want to continue to make your mark, please read on???

Who we are???

Stafffinders is a family-led business, very much at the forefront of temporary and permanent recruitment since 1971. So much so, we have won several awards, most recent being "Outstanding Performing Business" at the 2017 ROCCO Awards. With offices in both the west and east coast, we cover the length of breadth of Scotland (also internationally thanks to the continued success of our sister company, Kingpin - who are also recruiting). Members of both APSCO and REC trade bodies, our values and ethics are very much in line with our family background. We also work closely with both community and charity organisations, recently playing an active role in the Paisley 2021 bid as well as raising awareness and funds for Cash for Kids and RAMH.

What we want from you???

As a Senior Commercial Recruiter, you will need to be determined, enthusiastic and self-driven. Attitude is everything within the job, as you will be required to drive business in a competitive market, support and develop junior members of your team and actively source clients and candidates through a wide variety of mediums for a wide variety of roles. Online and social media presence is an important part of the role, but you should also be outgoing, adaptable to different individuals and willing to pick up the phone and get out and meet people. The personal touch is vital, so if you want to be figuratively tied to a desk and hide behind emails, perhaps give it a miss.

As for experience, you should be able to demonstrate a strong background in recruitment, ideally Commercial but not essential. It's a highly competitive marketplace and we want somebody who can hit the ground running! We would consider existing Senior Consultants or Recruitment Consultants looking to make the step up.

What you get from us???

Aside from highly competitive salary, achievable bonus opportunities, the potential for flexible working hours (we would consider someone working 4 days) and time in lieu, quite a lot actually. You will get the chance to earn industry accredited qualifications from the REC, along with the opportunity to develop through world-renowned training plans such as those by Social Talent. Besides the aforementioned bonus opportunities, we offer regular performance-related incentives and prizes (??100 restaurant vouchers most recently up for grabs!). You will get the chance to have your ideas heard and implemented, as we don't like to micromanage, rather be supportive and open-minded in our approach. Last but not least, if you are really good you will get the chance to progress within the company. Danielle has just been promoted to Managing Consultant, after only a year with us and it was only 5 years ago I was bluffing my way through my first placements, whereas now I am writing inspiring job ads such as this??????.!

Is it hard work?...Definitely

Is it worth it?....Absolutely

So, do you think this sounds good?

To apply, please forward us an up-to-date CV. If you want to discuss it further, please call us and ask for either Graeme (myself) or Fiona (19 years here, so what she doesn't know about working here, isn't worth knowing).

We are also looking for like-minded individuals in other divisions, so if your skills lie in a different area of recruitment, please do give us a shout.
