Legal Recruitment Consultant - Birmingham

Negotiable basic salary with uncapped commission, clear attainable path for progression

Established in 2003 BCL Legal is a specialist legal recruitment consultancy working with private practice law firms and in-house legal teams throughout the UK. Initially launched in Manchester, our success has allowed us to expand; with offices in Birmingham and London. As a legal recruitment consultant, you are responsible for attracting quality candidates and matching them to positions with our vast and prestigious client base. You'll build positive relationships in order to gain a better understanding of your clients' recruitment needs and requirements. Many of our consultants are former solicitors that have sought a change in direction.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are open minded as to your background, but we are keen to hear from current recruitment consultants (temporary or permanent recruitment experience) with professional services sector experience. Legal recruitment experience is not essential.

We are also very interested to hear from lawyers (senior Paralegal, CILEX or Solicitor) looking for a change of direction. Many of our staff in Birmingham are legally trained.

Educated to degree level, you will have the confidence and ability to build relationships with lawyers as both candidates and clients. Whilst we do provide an exceptional platform on which to build your business, you will have an appetite for business development. You will possess an outgoing personality, be team oriented and have a strong work ethic.
