Job Scope:
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring Pulse maximizes the recruitment of new and established associates, working in close partnership with the Assistant Manager - Recruitment & Compliance in order to achieve clearance targets in the shortest possible time. The ability to multi task and to work under pressure is essential in the post holder.
Key responsibilities:
  • Recruiting Nurses and Midwives in accordance with NHS LPP Framework requirements and as directed by the Pulse written Recruitment procedures
  • Developing the Nursing Database and ensuring that the use of iQX and associated systems is carried out according to company guidelines and procedures and that all compliance requirements are met throughout the recruitment process
  • Adhering to employment legislation
  • To support the ongoing focus on the achievement of clearance targets
  • Ensuring the use of the iQX system enables the Recruitment Team to identify nurses to be targeted for increased hours and ongoing lines of work
  • Ensuring Recruitment pipeline is maintained to ensure targets are met and exceeded
  • Maintaining regular contact with Nurses who are in the process of being recruited
  • Supporting the Manager with the induction and orientation of new staff to the Recruitment Team.
  • Supporting the Manager with the collation of weekly KPI reports.
  • Taking a proactive approach to the role in order to support the Manager in providing fully compliant recruits to meet contracted and non-contracted demand at all times
  • Advertising - updating and renewing online job boards
  • New Enquiries - pre registration screening
  • Establish evidence of associates eligibility to work in the UK
  • Arranging interviews with Nurse Recruitment Consultants, advising associates on what to bring on the day
  • Monitoring of interview attendance
  • Confirming NMC/HCPC registration details online
  • Requesting and tracking online references
  • Obtaining DBS Enhanced Disclosures
  • Liaison with Occupational Health re clearance of associates
  • Continuously review progress of associate to collate all necessary paperwork for completion of process
  • Booking mandatory training via online facility
  • Following up on training day to ensure continuity towards optimum completion of the recruitment process
  • Liaison with Nurse Recruitment Consultants to advise of progress of prospects towards completion
  • Ensuring that all elements of iQx are updated throughout the process
  • Issuing notification of clearance completion emails to all teams using the temporary Nurse database
  • Assisting with maintaining the Interview Consulting Rooms
  • Create and issue Photo ID badges upon completion
  • Filing and Archiving Nurse Files
  • P45 Forms - processing requests
  • Processing PULSE Reference and Work History requests
