The Opportunity

Do you possess the capability to deliver innovative and value-added solutions for O&G? Do you have the potential to become an industry respected consultant and leading technical expert in your field? Your role will be to listen to clients and understand their problems and needs in relation to managing their projects. With support from our senior management team you will propose and deliver bespoke consultancy solutions, which draw upon our key strengths and capabilities.

We are looking for you to already have developed expertise in one or more technical aspects of O&G, e.g. design, construction, operation, or asset management.

In addition to using your technical expertise, you will be expected to support delivery of strategic management consultancy for our clients' senior management teams.

The role will require you to be based at our offices in Newcastle. You will be required to occasionally travel in the UK and overseas to meet our clients' requirements.

Professional Experience

* We are looking to recruit a 360 Recruitment Consultant/Manager to help further develop our Oil and Gas recruitment division.

* This exciting opportunity for a 360 Recruitment Consultant/Manager is in a vibrant and growing business in Newcastle.

* You will need to have a minimum of five years of experience in recruitment sales and resourcing, in Oil and Gas at both recruitment consultant level and management level.

Job Description:

* You will work as part of a dynamic and experienced sales team but initially as the only recruiter, reporting directly to the MD.

* You will be supported by a motivated and happy head office team and will be able to call upon a highly experienced resourcing specialist if you need to.

* Initially, you will focus on interim/contract opportunities but will be happy to work on permanent vacancies as well.

* You will also have responsibility for recruiting permanent technical consultants to join our team, and for staffing internal delivery projects.

* Our core strategy for the business includes the development of a O&G recruitment division. Therefore, a very real opportunity to create personal satisfaction and wealth.

What you will do:

* Meet and exceed KPIs and revenue target

* Have an active Client facing role

* Be responsible for the full recruitment life cycle

* Create and manage recruitment opportunities for mid to senior level vacancies

* Work with Practice Heads to grow our permanent consulting staff and resource client projects

* Support with building and managing a resourcing team

What you possess:

* Recruitment/account management experience

* Sales and Account Management skills

* Strong technical and commercial awareness

* Excellent communication skills - oral and written

* Knowledge of the Charity, Oil/Gas, Financial, Health and Government sectors will be a distinct advantage

Person specification:

* A minimum of five years' O&G recruitment experience

* Maturity and a strong desire to succeed

* High work ethic

* Self-motivated

* Degree qualified - preferred but not essential

* Fluent English is a pre-requisite
