Experienced Recruitment Consultant/Senior Consultant - Health and Social Care - Permanent Desk - The Social Care Community Partnership

Salary - up to ??25000 basic + huge potential for unlimited OTE + generous paid annual leave entitlement, expenses, pension and Private Medical cover.

The Social Care Community Partnership has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and dynamic individual with a proven record in the permanent recruitment market to join our organisation due to the rapid growth of our company. The successful candidate will concentrate on assisting, developing and strengthening our award winning work within the Health and Social Care market in Scotland. We are particularly keen to hear from proven permanent recruiters who have an interest in recruiting in the charitable/third and private care sectors where we have a vast amount of staffing requirements and a red hot desk to walk into!

The Role - Based at our office located on the outskirts of Edinburgh we require an Experienced Consultant - (full coaching and support will be provided to enable the successful candidate to recruit in our particular areas of expertise) to undertake the following:-

* Identifying and resourcing of suitable staff for active vacancies through a variety of mediums
* Dealing with candidate queries, calls, interviews, applications and support through placing of such into permanent employment opportunities.
* All aspects of Care Governance and compliance in line with National Care Standards when recruiting staff for positions within the Health and Social Care market in Scotland.
* Mapping of potential clients in the social care sector, gathering information on organisational structure and identifying the best point(s) of contact for dealing with ongoing staffing requirements.
* To deliver a high quality recruitment service, and to maintain and develop exisiting relationships with a number of our charitable/third sector clients who require assistance to recruit staff on a permanent basis.
* Assisting with mail shots, advertising and marketing of our services to those who require assistance with staffing in the Health and Social Care sector within the private, statutory and voluntary sectors.
* Conducting updates with candidates on availability, needs of clients and producing regular reports to assist with the smooth running and development of our organisation.
* To adhere to KPI's and targets as agreed with the TSCCP Management team.

The Successful candidate ideally should possess the following skillset: -

* Strong organisational skills - being able to work effectively on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Diligent attention to detail.
* Experience within the Health and Social Care industry is desirable
* Ability to demonstrate an empathy and understanding of the sector
* Self confidence, good atriculation and proven team player
* A proven ability in permanent recruitment markets.

Due to the location of our offices and the requirements of the role we are ideally looking for candidates to possess a full UK Driving License and have access to their own transport.

Experience and Qualifications :- Applicants should ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent and have at least 1 years experience in a recruitment or HR role. Knowledge of the third sector/health and social care sector highly desirable although not essential.
