Our Leeds team is growing! We are one of the largest suppliers of temporary nurses and care assistants in West Yorkshire and would like to hear from you if you would like to join our team. We have a healthy mix of experience and trainees within the Leeds team - we offer both in-house training and the opportunity to complete the Certificate in Recruitment Practice, CertRP;

Our Trainee Recruitment role will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills to build your own recruitment business within ours - you will learn all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle and follow the well-trodden path that took our CEO from recruitment resourcer to Chief Executive.

You should enjoy working in a fast paced environment and possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be highly motivated to maximise speed and efficiency. If you enjoy driving business through social media - this could be the role for you!

You will be responsible for networking and advertising to promote Servoca Nursing & Care to potential candidates and maintaining and developing relationships, ensuring all candidates are informed of current and future opportunities. The successful candidate will ensure that they understand the needs of the clients and match appropriate candidates with vacancies to provide a quality tailored recruitment service.

During your training, you will be provided with an experienced sales buddy to help you grow as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Your focus will be on building your own network of clients and candidates. You will work alongside our sales team to help build your own desk; providing temporary nurses, carers and support workers into private nursing, residential and support settings.

Our recruitment consultants balance their time between new business development, through sales calls and visits; candidate resourcing, developing your pipeline of candidates and account management; to ensure we provide the best service possible to our existing client and candidates.

Nursing & care is a challenging and rewarding sector of the recruitment market. It offers clear progression and an opportunity for successful trainees to build their own desks and market share.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:


  1. Previous experience within a busy customer facing working environment.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels both in person and over the telephone
  3. Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with strong customer service skills
  4. Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  5. Good level of general education
  6. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
