We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen in our Liverpool office for a Recruitment Consultant who has experience in recruitment in social care and health care recruitment.

ASE Recruitment is a specialist in Social Care supplying temporary support workers, senior support roles, concierge workers and cooks and cleaners to local and national housing providers across the North West including Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire, High Peak and Derbyshire Dales and the East and West Midlands.

We are looking for an experienced and professional recruitment consultant with an extensive recruitment background in social care and health care. You will be to work closely with the recruitment manager to deliver an excellent standard of service to clients and candidates.

Your duties will include obtaining availability of your temporary workers, sourcing work to suit their skills, ensuring the needs of our clients are met. You will be confident working in a busy office environment working towards targets and be willing to go that 'extra mile' for our clients and candidates, ensuring we deliver and exceed expectations every time.

As a consultant your main responsibilities will include:

* Develop and build long-term professional business relationships with new and existing clients

* Responsible for booking all shift requests that are made

* Post jobs adverts via job boards and social media

* Build a database of clients and candidates

* Pre-screen and interview potential candidates

* Manage your administration, process candidates from start to finish

* Source and successfully place temporary staff into positions quickly and efficiently to meet the needs of clients

* Be able to work to a very high standard and ensure records are maintained and compliant with legislation and contractual requirements.

* Be able to manage your own timetable, desk and workload in a very demanding sector

* Client visits and customer service calls

* Work closely with the recruitment manager to bring in new business and develop the service

* Continuous sales and customer service to build on clients and candidates

* Provide on call cover on a rota basis
In addition, ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Self-motivated and driven to ensure excellent service is provided to clients and candidates

* Excellent organisation and time management skills and be able to prioritise workload

* Experience of covering shifts via a temp database or perm desk

* Experience in a health and social care environment
