The Education division is the newest sector which opened in February 2017 under Recruit Mint Ltd who now operate across five sectors. We are experiencing growing demand for our services, accredited to the high-quality candidates we attract, our innovative recruitment and retention solutions and the high levels of service we provide to both clients and candidates. We therefore need to recruit another Recruitment Consultant to join this expanding, friendly and ambitious team in Peterborough.
We offer schools day to day, long term and permanent teachers and support staff and in a time when competitors are struggling for quality we are still attracting excellent teachers.
Candidates will be tenacious individuals with a desire for continued success. The role is extremely diverse and will suit a driven and ambitious forward thinking individual. With Peterborough being our only branch we have growth plans in place to open further offices across the Region.
We work in a fast paced environment where the ability to multi task is essential. This is a challenging
and demanding role so applicants will need a strong work ethic and will need to be prepared to go the
extra mile.

You will be holding face to face meetings with Headteachers, Business Managers and Cover Managers forms part of this role therefore applicants will need the confidence to lead these meetings, converting business and building lasting relationships. A proven sales record, strong negotiation skills and the desire to be successful is essential. A driving license will be required for this role.

The role of a recruiter includes but is not limited to:
• Attract business using sales, business development, networking and marketing techniques
• Retaining client and candidate relationships by building rapport and managing expectations
• Preparing CVs and correspondences to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
• Carry out successful client sales and service visits
• Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts
• Resourcing candidates for designated areas using various job boards
• Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client and briefing the candidate about the responsibilities of the role, the salary, and benefits.
• Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
• Negotiating and offering advice on salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates.

What are we looking for in our Recruitment Consultants?
• A background in recruitment, ideally within the Education sector but this is not essential or experience in the education sector
• The ability to work under pressure
• The confidence to talk to people both face to face and over the phone
• The ability to offer a personable and honest approach to both clients and candidates
• A proven track record of billings
• Someone who can be accountable and take responsibility for the growth of their desk
• The commitment to go above and beyond to exceed expectations for candidates and clients
• A strong communicator
