An exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a leading manufacturing organisation as a Procurement Sourcing Specialist
Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Sourcing Specialist;
Lead global sourcing projects.
Manage end-to-end sourcing for Key Commodities incorporating spend & risk mitigation strategies.
Prepare and execute clear structured negotiations following defined strategic sourcing methodology.
Evaluate suppliers, develop and lead RFQ process for multiple commodities.
Liaise with Internal and External Stakeholders to identify key business needs, influencing them to understand the benefits of Procurement and meeting their needs effectively.
Analyse marketing industry trends and conditions that affect stakeholders, suppliers and pricing.
Personal Specification of the Procurement Sourcing Specialist;
CIPS qualification would be preferred.
Proven Procurement & Sourcing experience.
Experience of delivering significant cost savings.
Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent IT skills including Intermediate Excel skills.
Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
Ability to effectively prioritise workload.
Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
Flexibility to travel to meet suppliers as required.
