Recruitment Consultant - Preston

Job Purpose:

To source and select exceptional candidates that fit perfectly with the needs of the client whilst meeting and exceeding agreed KPI's and targets by;

* Maximising on recruitment opportunities in the marketplace through continuous networking with clients and developing a network of candidates
* Continuously developing the Clayton brand in the market by offering a first class customer service.
* Developing long-term effective business relationships with clients and candidates
* Becoming a specialist and market leading recruiter within a specific sector through successful placements

Job Specification:

* Conduct professional discussions with clients and candidates using all mediums as appropriate
* Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates and clients
* Contribute to team meetings as appropriate
* Participate in regular review meeting and implement change as directed
* Operate in line with the industry code of ethics and relevant legislation
* Accurate recording of candidate and client information on the CRM database
* Comply with all relevant employment legislation and appropriate codes of practice
* Comply with all relevant sector-specific legislation
* A commitment to on-going personal and professional development


* Generate candidates in specific markets and client companies through;
* Targeted Cold calling
* Interviews
* Developing referrals
* Targeted Client Visits
* Mailshots
* Internet
* Targeted marketing
* Referencing
* Identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements
* Identify, progress and convert sales leads as required
* Proactively and consistently strive to identify and obtain new business opportunities
* Source suitable vacancies in line with company policies and sales procedures
* Manage and develop client relationships
* Establish and agree terms and conditions of service
* Monitor responses/applications received and ensure candidate's applications are processed efficiently
* Shortlist and present suitably qualified applicants against defined job vacancies
* Manage the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the client and candidate
* Successfully place suitable candidates with clients
* Ensure all administration and aftercare services are concluded in line with company policies
* Understand and meet agreed KPIs
* Meet and exceed agreed financial targets
* Ensure that candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
* Fully utilise the CRM to record, search and produce information as directed by the company
* Develop expertise within your sector in order to consult with candidates and clients

Salary Flexibility:

* ??18k - ??25k
* OTE ??35k-??45k

Working Hours:

* 8.30 - 5.30
* One late shift per week until 6pm
* Flexible

Team Set-Up:

* 31 in the team
* Reporting to Sales Manager

* Degree qualified or 6 months experience minimum in a similar role
* Experience of working in a customer focused and sales role
* Demonstrable ability to develop business relationships
