Principal Recruitment Consultant


Up to ??40,000 + commission + benefits

Our client, a Global Recruitment organisation, is currently seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant to join their London operation on a full time, permanent basis. This role would involve working to revenue targets and generating new business and providing specialist recruitment services.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the relevant market and identifying clients to target
  • Achieve revenue targets, actively maximising opportunities to create new business
  • Understands the importance of the customer experience, from initial contact to after-placement support
  • Negotiate commercial payment terms and preferred supplier agreements
  • Engage with colleagues to ensure there is an understanding of the wider business
  • Build an on-going relationship with existing clients to ensure there is an in-depth understanding of their business requirements
  • Attend regular client meetings, building relationships and promoting our client
  • Proactively source new business leads, attend regular networking events and utilise social media
  • Maintaining external vendor and partner relationships
  • Support consultant training and development
  • Actively shares industry knowledge within the team to recommend new markets to target

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Experience working within the STEM, IT, Finance or Public Service recruitment sector
  • Experience working in a target driven environment
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements
  • Experience acting as a role model within the team
  • Experience making commercial decisions to improve the service and profitability of the business
  • Excellent organisation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suites including Outlook, Excel and Word
