Job Title: Resourcing Advisor

Department: Resourcing & Recruitment

Reporting to: Senior Resourcing Advisor

The Team: The Resourcing team works in collaboration with the Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Compensation and Benefits teams.

Role Purpose: In line with the firm's ambitious and progressive vision and strategy, resourcing and talent management plays a key role in its delivery. Acting as a resourcing partner to the firm's designated service lines, this role is responsible for providing end to end strategic and innovative resourcing solutions to attract top talent with a focus on maximising direct hires whilst reducing reliance recruitment agents.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Resourcing Manager in the implementation and delivery of the resourcing strategy and associated projects to meet the demands of the pipeline in line with the firm's strategy

  • Establish and maintain effective networks and relationships with internal and external resources/stakeholders to promote and identify referral opportunities

  • Recruit all approved vacancies within dedicated business areas within prescribed KPIs (to be confirmed), working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the most suitable and cost effective sourcing strategy is utilised at all time

  • Proactively build and maintain the candidate pipeline to fill all vacancies and ensure these candidates are utilised for new vacancies

  • Support Senior Resourcing Manager in pro-actively identifying and highlighting initiatives to drive recruitment activity and to stay abreast of our competitors

  • Actively utilise all relevant recruitment resources and social media in line with our brand and values to promote career opportunities to increase the number of direct hires, including the ownership of sourcing and screening such candidates

  • Conduct interviews alongside hiring managers and make recommendations on suitability of candidates

  • Provide support and guidance to Resourcing Administrators in the delivery of their role

  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, relevant changes in employment law and immigration regulations and make recommendations for improvements

  • Manage agency and supplier relationships and lead the annual review of our Preferred Supplier List for designated service line/s

  • Keep the Senior Resourcing Manager and the HR team up to date on the progress of vacancies and drive action to keep momentum where required

  • Assist with the early careers recruitment process where necessary, e.g. in assessment centres and at various events to promote the firm's programmes

  • Produce statistical analytics on PSL performance on a quarterly basis and draw out trends to provide recommendations to Department Heads and HR as required

  • Complete weekly recruitment analysis for designated service lines

  • Provide regular updates on cost savings and recruitment spend to the business, highlighting ways to increase return on investment and value for money.

Attributes, Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience of working in a similar role ideally within Financial or Professional Services

  • Strong communication and negotiating skills, comfortable challenging the status quo and influencing and driving change whilst maintaining strong relationships

  • Outstanding stakeholder management and client focus

  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to build rapid credibility

  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders, peers and senior management

  • An independent problem solver who can set priorities, make high quality judgements and decisions quickly and effectively drive outcomes through to completion

  • Up to date with employment law that impacts resourcing and recruitment life cycle

  • Personable and well-presented

  • Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus

  • Competent at using MS Office applications and Outlook, ideally with a solid grasp of excel

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Good attention to detail
