Lucy Walker Recruitment, an Award Winning Agency based in Leeds City Centre has a new and unique opportunity to join our successful team here in our busy head office as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer on the Temporary Division.

The role

As our Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer you will be a key support to our busy Temporary Division, supporting three experienced consultants where your excellent administration skills will be utilised, coupled with the ability to provide a superb client/customer experience. This position is a newly created role due to the success and growth of this particular team. We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer who will be an asset to the team and be involved in the future success and growth of the desk, with the potential of this role turning into a fully trained Recruitment Consultant position in time.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer, you will be involved in many aspects of the whole recruitment cycle. You can expect your key responsibilities to be;

* Supporting three experienced consultants in filling live temporary roles

* Handling incoming calls and queries from candidates looking for work * Write adverts for our live vacancies

* Post adverts on the job boards we work in partnership with and on LWR's own website

* Handling a large volume of applications from adverts

* Supporting with busy projects including volume recruitment for key clients

* Pre-screening candidates on the telephone to establish whether we can help them in their job search

* Book appointments with candidates for the consultants and manage the consultants' diary

* Arranging candidate interviews via telephone and via email confirmation

* Database management - constant work on our recruitment database, to keep candidate and client information updated at all times

* Other associated tasks with a view to developing the role over time and assisting the team overall

Ideally you will be educated to A Level or Degree level and will be looking for an opportunity where hard work and determination brings results. To be considered, you will have the following:

* Fantastic Administration experience coupled with the ability to communicate clearly

* A minimum of at least 1 years work history

* Experience of working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to react well to change

* Effectively meet deadlines and work under pressure when required

* Experience of working within a client focused role would be beneficial

* Excellent attention to detail within all areas of your work

* Fantastic communication skills both on the telephone and face to face is essential

* Positive, professional and enthusiastic in your approach to work, and also have a genuine and honest personality
